Michael Williams is one of the finest voices on the contemporary music scene - his incredibly distinctive velvet vocals applied to an emotive soulful rock sound.

Michael grew up listening to a wide range of music from soul to rock and roll and from RnB to opera. In his early musical career, he toured with several bands including some world class names such as UB40, before moving on to his current position as a member of one of the biggest selling bands of all time, The Drifters, who have sold in excess of 214 million singles and 114 million albums worldwide.

Now embarking on his solo career alongside his position within The Drifters, Michael’s solo material is a passionate blend of soul and rock music stamped with his own unique vocal sound.

Michael is currently recording and performing with US recording artist Kellie Schreiber, with a new album due for release in late 2010.
